Our Team

The Youth Do Vote team brings together administrators, educators, students, local nonprofits, and election officials to demystify voting and elections in Bexar County.

Founded in 2023 by Heather Eichling and fiscally sponsored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas, our nonpartisan team advances voter registration, voting education, and the recruitment of student election clerks. We work collaboratively with school districts to strengthen compliance with the Texas High School Voter Registration law and to connect young people with paid, real-world election experience that builds civic confidence and leadership.
